Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
These Terms are an agreement between you and The Clario Group LLC (“Clario,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Clario, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Clario reads your connected Gmail to extract family-relevant events and present them in a calendar and morning briefing. The service is currently free during beta.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and adding family members.
You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the service to send spam or harassment
- Submit data you are not authorized to share
5. Beta disclaimers
Clario is provided “as is” during beta. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy of parsed events, or fitness for any particular purpose. Always verify important dates against the original source.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clario and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed appointments or events.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
7. Privacy
Your use of Clario is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time by deleting your account.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify connected users by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
