Terms of Service

Last updated: July 24, 2026

How Clario works. There are two ways to use Clario: forward emails to your private Clario address (the standard app, available to everyone), or — by invitation — connect Gmail so Clario reads it automatically. Automatic Gmail connection is an invite-only research beta, provided as-is while we study how it works for live families; the standard forwarding app is a finished product. Always verify important dates against the original.

1. Acceptance

These Terms are an agreement between you and The Clario Group LLC (“Clario,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Clario, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Clario turns your family's emails — school notices, activity schedules, appointments — into calendar events and to-dos, with a daily briefing. You can forward emails to your private Clario address (available to everyone), or, by invitation, connect Gmail so Clario reads it automatically (an invite-only research beta). Clario offers a 14-day free trial; after the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription ($9.99/month or $79/year — one subscription covers your family), which renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Settings (or, for App Store purchases, in your Apple ID subscriptions).

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and adding family members.

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the service to send spam or harassment
  • Submit data you are not authorized to share

5. Disclaimers

Clario is provided “as is.” Automatic Gmail connection is an invite-only research beta and may change or pause as we continue to study it. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy of parsed events, or fitness for any particular purpose. Always verify important dates against the original source.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clario and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed appointments or events.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

7. Privacy

Your use of Clario is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time by deleting your account.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify connected users by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
